John “Jack” Enders and his longtime companion Frenchie Pitoy are found murdered in their Surf City home. The couple has been stabbed, beaten, and shot in the face. A Winnebago is caught on video at the couple's million-dollar home, which has been put on the market.

Police find the vehicle registered to a family member: Enders' daughter, Sherry Heffernan.
