Cassie Kay Compton went missing 10 years ago from the town of Stuttgart, Arkansas. Today she would be 25 years old. She was just 15 when this mystery began. According to reports, Cassie was dropped off at her mother’s home on the evening of September 14, 2014. It is believed that the last person known to have seen Cassie was her mother’s fiancé Brandon Rhodes. Rhodes would later face several unrelated charges for drugs, weapons, and stolen goods. Brandon Rhodes remains a strong suspect in this disappearance and may hold the answers as to what happened to this little girl. At the time of her disappearance Cassie was 5’3, 100 pounds with blue eyes, and dyed blonde hair. There are some discrepancies as to what she was wearing at the time. We know a few things for sure: Cassie had been spending the weekend with a friend of hers named Hunter, and Cassie slept over there on Saturday night.
Hunter’s mother has said that this was not out of the ordinary. In fact, Cassie spent a lot of time at her house because, she said, things were chaotic at Cassie’s house.
Hunter drove her home on Sunday early evening and an hour later, she vanished.
